A cross-platform vehicle companion for managing cars, fuel, servicing, insurance, reminders and ownership costs.

The challenge.

Vehicle information is commonly scattered across receipts, notes and separate services, making it difficult to understand costs or keep maintenance tasks visible.

What had to be solved

  • Model vehicles, fuel, service, insurance, documents and reminders without creating disconnected tools.
  • Maintain reliable ownership records across local device state and cloud data.
  • Integrate maps, location, attachments and account features inside one coherent mobile experience.

The solution.

Built a React Native application that brings vehicles, expense categories, reports, service records and reminders into one account. Supabase-backed data, PowerSync integration, location tools and attachment handling support real ownership workflows.

How the solution responds

  • Used the selected vehicle as the shared context for every ownership task.
  • Created dedicated APIs and screens for each expense type while preserving a common reporting model.
  • Combined Supabase, PowerSync, React Query and device integrations for a resilient cross-platform foundation.

Product approach

Centred the product on a selected vehicle, then connected every ownership task—fuel, service, insurance, reporting and reminders—to that context so the interface stays predictable as a garage grows.

Technical foundation

A React Native navigation stack sits over Supabase-backed domain APIs, React Query caching and PowerSync synchronisation. Device integrations support location, maps, document attachments and profile imagery.
